# Katya's Crosswords for macOS

`katyas-crosswords-macos.zip` contains the supplied, unmodified **Katya's Crosswords 1.1.0** application.

- **Platform:** macOS, Intel (`x86_64`). This is not a native Apple silicon build.
- **Minimum OS indicated by bundled binaries:** macOS 15.0. The executable itself targets 10.13, but its PySide6 bindings target 15.0, so older macOS releases must not be advertised as supported.
- **Included examples:** Poetry Words, Common Poetic Forms, and About a Boy Crossword Challenge, plus CSV word-and-clue lists.

## Packaging and verification

Packaged from `katyas_crosswords/Katya's Crosswords.app` with macOS `ditto -c -k --sequesterRsrc --keepParent`, preserving the app bundle and Mac metadata. The archive passed a ZIP CRC check, and the source app passed `codesign --verify --deep --strict`.

The supplied app has an **ad hoc signature**, with no Developer ID or team identity. Public distribution should use a Developer ID signed and notarized build; macOS may block this supplied build when downloaded. The app was not launched during website development, and runtime compatibility has not been verified.
